CATCH A NEW EPISODE EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM 31ST OCTOBER

The world of amateur theatre is uncovered in this honest and in-depth series. Mixing the documentary and reality genres, it follows Spotlight Drama Academy, a Baldock-based children's drama club, as they prepare to perform a junior version of the Broadway masterpiece Guys and Dolls.

The drama off-stage is just as intense as the drama on it. The producers keep a video diary to record the progress, and cameras capture highlights from every single rehearsal to illustrate the point. Broadway To Baldock tells it how it is - no sugar-coating, no dancing around the unspeakable. Time is short, stress is high, and the pressure is on. Can Spotlight deliver the goods?
